Bio
Christopher Sonnie is an accomplished actor based in New York and Boston. He honed his craft at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City, where he was awarded The Chandra Wilson Scholarship. Under the tutelage of esteemed directors Lola Cohen, Geoffrey Horne, and George Loros, Christopher developed a deep appreciation and skill for method acting.
Christopher’s recent work includes a standout performance as Laertes in a 2023 off-off Broadway production of Hamlet. Outside of acting, he channels his creativity into scriptwriting, delves into the depths of philosophy, and enjoys surfing at the beach.
With a passion for storytelling and a commitment to his craft, Christopher Sonnie eagerly anticipates future collaborations with fellow artists.
